Johnny Wayne Wade, age 79, of Cullman Alabama, passed away on September 5, 2026. He was born on August 26, 1947, in Oakman, Alabama. Wayne was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved his family dearly and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were among the greatest joys of his life. He was better known as “Pop” by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, a name that reflected the special place he held in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria, Son Christopher Wayne, Mother Elean, Father John Henry and brother Mickey. Wayne is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Robby) and Lindsay (Coty); his son Frankie, his grandchildren, Zach (Jake), Morgan (Justin), Frankie Jr, Gia, Caden, Brantley, and Sophie; his great-grandchildren, Madi Kate and Mia, Sister Donna, Brothers Ricky and Larry and 2 special bonus daughters, Traci and Ashley. He is also survived by his best friend, Glenda, whose friendship and companionship meant so much to him and his dog, Maggie, who held such a special place in his heart. Wayne will be remembered for his love of family, his devotion to those closest to him and the pride and joy he found in being Dad and Pop. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
