A Celebration of Life service for Johnny Harvey Shaw, 85, of Crane Hill, will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Cullman Funeral Home chapel.  Family will welcome friends from 2-4 pm to visit.

Johnny was born April 18, 1938, to John Nelson Shaw and Mittie Jane Gardner Shaw.  He passed from this life on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rene Shaw; grandson, Blake Shaw; good friend, Kathy Spisto.

Survivors include his son, Billy Shaw; sister, Doris (Jonas) Simmons; grand-daughter, Kortni Shaw; great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Cameron.

Johnny was proud of the service and time he gave back to the AA community through mentorship, speaking, and simply the good words he encouraged others with daily.  He had the blessing of traveling to Okinawa multiple times with his good friend Kathy and he loved his family there. Johnny loved his son and his family and enjoyed his time with Jonas and Doris very much.  He will always be missed by those who knew and loved him.
