Funeral service for John Hollis Lowery, 90, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 27 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens, Rev. Ken Allen officiating.  Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral.

Mr. Lowery passed away December 22, 2022 at Cullman Regional Hospital.  He was born July 25, 1932 to James Monroe & Missouri Melvina McCombs Lowery.  He was a member of Cullman First Baptist Church.  He was employed with NASA and worked during the Apollo and space shuttle era.  He enjoyed agricultural pursuits, loved cattle, poultry, the natural land, and he definitely loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carolyn Hipp Lowery; and, brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Lowery; son, Eric (Debbie) Lowery; grandsons, Samuel Augustus Lowery, William Henry Lowery; a number of brothers and sisters-in-law; family and friends.
