Funeral service for Joel Brent Martin, 53, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 19 ^th , 2022 at Temple Baptist Church, Pastor Malcolm Carter II and Keith Gulley will be officiating.  The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Friendship Methodist Cemetery.   Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Cullman Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m.

Mr. Martin passed away October 15, 2022 at his residence.  He was born September 26, 1969.  He worked at Polaris Industries in industrial maintenance.  He loved to play softball and loved Alabama football.  He was an avid Case knife collector.  He loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Irene Martin, Joseph D. Townsend, Mary Curry Ward; sister, Tommie Tyler.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Kelley Martin; special children, Kristi (Steven) Witcher, Heath 'Bubba' (Chanda) Harbison; brothers, Kenneth (Leigh Ann) Martin, Mike (Dawn) Ward, Keith (Laura) Curry; sisters, Linda McDaniel, Peggy Pinckard, Betty (Mike) Carr, Beth (Robert) Hudson; grandchildren, Anna Grace (Zeb Cutcher) Norris, Judd Michael Norris, Kyle Gregory Norris, Ellorie Kate Harbison, Hayden Lee Witcher, Brodey Chandler; special grandchild, Hunter Scott Clay; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sharon (Steve) Humphries, Tim (Sindy) Kelley, Terry Kelley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Frank Allen Yielding, Sheldon Pearson, Mattie Robinson, Jimbo Livingston Dione Vick, Courtney Bridges, Mike Hall, Brian Autry.
