Funeral service for Jimmie Ray Rodgers, 82, of Odenville, formerly of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 19 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Duck Creek Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Mr. Rodgers passed from this life Monday, August 15 ^th , 2022.  He was born April 12, 1940 to Athel E.V. & Magalene Skinner Rodgers.  Jimmie was a hard worker and was employed with Vulcan Materials for 25 years. Jimmie was a member of Baldwin Heights Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.  He loved his family.  He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timmie Rodgers; brother, Dwight Rodgers; sister, Wanda Gail Rodgers.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Prince Rodgers; son, David (Christy) Rodgers; daughter, Gelene (Scott) Tipton; daughter-in-law, Donna Rodgers; brother, Lavon (Rhonda) Rodgers; half brother, Roger Dale Rodgers; sister-in-law, Brenda Rodgers; half sisters, Martha Sue Henderson, Mary Lou Mann; step-mother, Blanche Rodgers; sister-in-law, Brenda Rodgers; grandchildren, Amber Freeman, Jordan Rodgers; step-grandchildren, Brooklee Coffee, Destanee Coffee, Zeta Coffee, Renea Standridge; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Rodgers, Chase Rodgers, Dominick Cox, Wesley Rodgers, Calien Rodgers, Steven Prince.
