Memorial service is incomplete at this time for Jerald Wade Shannon, 79, of Vinemont.

Mr. Shannon passed away May 1, 2025 at his residence.  He was born May 8, 1945 to John Aurthur and Minnie Lou Cook Shannon. Jerald loved tinkering, gardening and tending to his roses, but woodworking was his favorite pastime.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Shannon; brother Earnest Shannon.

Survivors include his daughter, Leslie Shannon; son, Dewayne Shannon; grandchildren, Steven (Cassie) Speegle, John (Kelly) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Grace Speegle, Stella Johnson, Nova Johnson; family friend, Dena Speegle; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.The family would like to say a special thank you to Aveanna Hospice.
