Funeral service for Jeffrey Ray Horton, age 53, of Holly Pond, is Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1 pm at Vinemont Christian Church, with Bro. Nathan Thomas and Bro. Bruce Harris officiating.  Family will welcome friends at the church on Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm.  Interment will follow at New Jerusalem Cemetery in Joppa.

Jeffrey was born September 22, 1970 to Bobby Ray Horton and Brenda Warren Horton.  He passed from this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his mother; sister, Christy Horton; grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Trina Collier; his father, Bobby Ray Horton; brother, Anthony "Bull" Horton; sisters, Darlene Horton, Melissia Sutton (Chuck), Melody Horton; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews, a host of family and friends.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Fairview Class of 1988.  He was a minister of Joppa Christian Church for 16 years.  He was a die hard Alabama fan and he loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He will be missed.
