Funeral service for James Kyle Wood, 82, of Cullman will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, September 17 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Rev. Larry Brown and Rev. Roger James will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-3 prior to the service.

Mr. Wood passed away Tuesday, September 13 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Regional Hospital.  He was born December 22, 1939 to Otice Kyle & Roxie Jewel Bartlett Wood.  Mr. Wood went to Colorado when he was eighteen years old and mined uranium, gold, silver and molybdenum.  He loved to travel and treasure hunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shelby Dawes, Connie Cameron; son, Wesley Wood; grandchild, Joshua Wood.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Wood; sons, Johnny (Loretta) Wood, Ron (Kenney) Wood, Timothy Wood; daughter, Dawn Shelby Wood; brother-in-law, Billy Cameron; sisters, Janette (Rev. Roger) James, Brenda (Rev. Larry) Brown; grandchildren, Caleb Wood, Kyla (Michael) Vines, Seth Wood, Luke (Olivia) Wood, Jake Wood, Lacey Wood; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Jesse and Johnny Vines, Addison Morgan and Asa Wood; family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Wood, Seth Wood, Luke Wood, Jesse Vines, Shane Brown, and, Aiden Vines.
