James Early Scott, 84 of Cullman passed away Monday, November 27, 2023.  A Celebration of Life Service will be planned at a later date.

Mr. Scott was born June 15, 1939, to Newman C. and Lizzie Bell Russell Scott.

Early loved his family, being outdoors, and working on his land.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Newman C. and Lizzie Bell Russell Scott; daughter, Malinda Smith; son-in-law, Stevie Smith; granddaughter, Nicole Smith; son-in-law, Benny Bailey; his sisters, Betty Lorene Jones and Eunice Turner; brother, Jerry Scott and infant brother, Gary Scott. Mother of his children, Bonnie Faye Bagwell Pirkle.

Survivors include his daughter, Glenda Bailey; brother, Roy Scott; grandchildren, Clint (Cyndal) Smith, Whitt (Rachel) Bailey, Ginger Bailey; great-grandchildren, Caden Smith, Braden Smith, Journey Smith, Rhett Bailey, Benny Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
