Mr. James Leldon Nelson, 78, of Arab passed away February 18th, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Nelson was born February 12, 1948 to Leldon & Ruby Hendrix Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; a brother and a grandson-in-law, Blake Hicks.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sandra Nelson; daughters, Amy (Brian) Cobb, Deanna Nelson; two grandchildren, Lexi Darnell, Kenna Cobb; two great-grandchildren, Anna Hicks, Evie Hicks; family and friends.
