James Hendrix Morton, 77, of Cullman passed away Monday, November 28 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Regional Hospital.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Morton was born May 6, 1945 to Hershel Hendrix Morton and Verna Mae Tyree Morton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.R. Morton; sister, Gwen Fortenberry; favorite niece, Bobbie Jo Wilhite.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patricia Morton; sons, Johnny (Sandy) Morton, Ronald Morton, Jason Morton; adopted daughter, Deann Link; sister, Yvonne White; grandsons, Michael Dye and Trent Morton; granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Morton; great-grandchildren, Mali Dye, Kamden Keel, Zaylee & Addi McDonald, and a host of family and friends.
