Funeral Service for Mr. James Douglas Jennings will be Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 am, at Cullman Funeral Home with interment at Flint Creek Cemetery, Pastor Steve Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:30 to 8:00, April 9th 2025.

Mr. Jennings passed away Monday, April 7th, 2025, at his residence in Vinemont, AL. He was born June 29th, 1941, to Lonnie Duel and Esther Annie Jennings.

James (Jimmy) loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a love for horses and riding his tractor. He never met a stranger and loved the opportunity to share a tale. He will be missed. Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Jennings was survived by two sons, Jim (Sherry)  Jennings, Dewayne (Barbara) Jennings, Step Daughter Lori Martine, grandsons, Jacob Jennings and  Robert Hale, four brothers Charles (late wife Linda) Jennings, Allen Jennings, Marlin (Brenda) Jennings,  Larry (Pam) Jennings, and two sisters Emma Walker, Kathryn (late husband Terry) Rushing, 13 nieces and  nephews and many other family members.

Pallbearers are his nephews; Steven Jennings, Stan Jennings, Rusty Jennings, Randy Jennings, Rockie Rushing and Alex Jennings.
