A Celebration of Life Service for James H. Jacobs, 75, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 11am, Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10-11am prior to the service.  Leigh-Ann Stewart will officiate the service.

James was born on May 18, 1946 in Cullman County, Alabama to David James Jacobs and Elizabeth Myrtle Tucker Jacobs.  He passed from this life March 18. 2022 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Diane (Walter) Meyer, Joyce Michelle (Jerry) Moore, Melanie (Lee) Collier, Peggy Martin, and Allison Jacobs; brother, Jerry Jacobs; sisters, Sue Goldsby and Mae Jacobs; grandchildren, Leigh-Ann Stewart, Tina Campbell, Leah (Ronny) Duke, Ian Minor, Chelsea Moore, Makayla Moore, Patricia Autrey, Joey (Jamie) Collier, Jonathan (Heather) Collier, Jennifer Hastings, Ivan Gamez, Christopher Gamez, Susan Jacobs, Tristin Jacobs, Jadon Jacobs, Jesse Jacobs;  19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by, his parents, David J and Myrtle T. Jacobs; wife, Joyce B Jacobs; son, Wesley Jacobs; daughter, Susan Cox; grandson, Kenneth B. Stewart; brother and sisters, Clarence Jacobs, Roncil Jacobs, Evelene Jacobs, Luther Jacobs, Myrtle Mae Jacobs and John Jacobs.
