Graveside service for James Drake 'Ja' Hembree, 54, of Logan will be at 2 p.m., Monday, June 12th, 2023 at White Oak Baptist Cemetery, Rev. Steve Bryan officiating. There will be no formal visitation.

Ja passed away Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at UAB Hospital. He was born April 1, 1969 to David and Diane Drake Hembree. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira & Myrtie Hembree, Bill & Vera Drake and a grandchild.

Survivors include his parents, David and Diane Hembree; sons, Kale (Katrina) Hembree, Keston (Paige) Hembree; daughters, Katlyn (Dylan) Sellers, Rachel (Trent) Campbell; brothers, Heath (Lesley) Hembree, Dustin (Lonna) Hembree; grandchildren, Brystil, Braiden, Allie, Scout, Presley, Charlie, Marley, Brylee, Georgia, Ford; and a host of family and friends.
