Graveside service for James Burl Chappell, 85, of Cullman will be at 11:30, Saturday, December 3 ^rd , 2022 at Valley Springs Baptist Cemetery, Rev. Kenneth Shelton officiating.  The family will receive friends at Cullman Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.

Mr. Chappell passed away Wednesday, November 30 ^th , 2022 at CRMC.  He was born August 26, 1937 to Felix & Edna Russell Chappell.  He was a loving husband and father.  He worked for 43 years at Cullman Products.  He was a Baptist deacon for 53 years and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.  He was a veteran and served his country in the United States Navy.

Mr. Chappell was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ima Gean Chappell; son, Tony (Bridgette) Chappell; brother, Delma (Wenona) Chappell; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rachel & Ray Bridgmon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
