Jackie Lynn McDonald, 60, of Hanceville passed from this life surrounded by her family, Friday, March 24 ^th , 2023 at UAB-Highlands Hospital.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29 ^th , 2023 at 12 noon at Daystar Church with a service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jerry Lawson will officiate.  A private family graveside service will follow.

Mrs. McDonald was born February 24, 1963 to Robert L. & Lou Ellen Robertson Creel.

Her favorite thing in life was her family. She was their rock and her grandchildren were her world.  Jackie loved God and loved to worship Him.  She also was an avid roll tide fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Creel and her father-in-law Joe McDonald.

Survivors include her mother, Lou Ellen Creel; husband of 40 years, Wade McDonald; mother-in-law, Peggy McDonald; sons, Matthew Ryan (Emily) McDonald, Robert Canaan (Angel Trigo) McDonald; daughters, Jessica Lynn McDonald (Jacob Reed), Jordan Lindsey (Josh) Cofer; brother, Lee (Sandy) Creel; sister, Brenda (Taft) Dillashaw; grandchildren, McKenzie, Brayden, Riley, Elijah, Blakely, Olivia; and a host of family and friends.
