Funeral service for Irene Morris Netherton, age 70, of Vinemont, is Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Tim Aris officiating.  She will lie in state from 12-2 pm, prior to the service.  Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Cullman Funeral Home as well.  Interment will be at Bethlehem West Cemetery.

Irene was born July 6, 1953, to Andrew Dillard Morris, Sr. and Mary Ellen Williamson Morris.  She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Jeremiah Nathaniel Brown.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roy Dean Netherton; daughter, Felicia Brown-Hulsey (Derek); brother, Andrew Dillard Morris; sisters, Mary Anita Morris, Janice Lynn Williams (Randy); grandchildren, Kaden Brown, and Kayla Brown; a host of family and friends.

Irene was a faithful member of Bethlehem West Baptist Church.  She loved her vegetable garden and she loved to can her vegetables.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and family.  Family describes her as the best wife, mom, and nana there could be.  She will be missed by all who loved her.
