Funeral service for Herman Leon Haney, 75, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Friday, July 3rd, 2026 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethel Baptist Church at Blair.  Bro. Johnny Benefield will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 12-2 p.m.

Mr. Haney passed away at his residence Monday, June 29th, 2026.  He was born January 5, 1951 to Leon and Vera Mae Haney.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Sue Haney; son, Robert Haney; brother, Doyle Haney; sister, Ruth Johnson.

Survivors include his son, William Haney (Alice); two grandsons, Dave and Jed Chaney; daughter, Mandy Pace; four granddaughters, Hailey Johnson, Stacie Johnson, Shayna Johnson, Kaley Johnson; brother, Joe Haney, family and friends.

Herman loved watching ballgames.  He was a big Auburn Football and Atlanta Braves fan.  He drove a truck for many years.  He was a good man and will be missed.
