Funeral service for Helen Rose Johnson, age 72, of Vinemont will be Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Bro. Johnny Bennefield and Bro. Paul Rivers officiating. Family will welcome friends from 12-2 pm.  Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson passed from this life on Monday, November 6, 2023.  She was born February 2, 1951 to Richard Carbon Todd and Dora Bessie Burney Todd.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Annette Waddell; sisters, Margie Cordes, Ginger Dickens, Laquita Hutchens, Bonnetta Rainey; brother, Anthony Todd.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kermit Johnson; daughter, Janet Turner (Carl Evans), Rachel Johnson (Eric Goodman); son-in-law, Tim Waddell; eight grandchildren, Josh Waddell, Coty Waddell (Maggie), Blake (Farrah) Wilhite, Chazz (Kim) Wilhite, Brandi Turner (Jared Watson), Noah (Rhyan) Edwards, Jessica (Kazzie) Wilson, Hannah Brown; thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Helen is well remembered by family for her love of sewing, crafts, and flowers.  She so loved being with her family during the holidays and spoiling her grandchildren every chance she got.  She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers include Daniel Todd, Johnny Fowler, Tim Waddell, Jay Jay Feid, Glenn Raney, and Greg Speegle.
