Funeral service for Hazel Lorene Glover Powell, 84, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 7 ^th , 2023 at Living Faith Baptist Church, Bro. Larry Brown and Bro. Garry Couch officiating.  Visitation will be Monday evening at the church from 6-9 p.m.  The visitation will resume on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Mrs. Powell passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at CRMC.  She was born March 3, 1938 to Ira & Geda James Glover.  She was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church.  Lorene was a precious sister, wife, mother and grandmother, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Powell; sisters, Mavis Loretta Tyree and her husband, Robert Tyree, Margaret Sterling and her husband, Benny Sterling.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Randall) Blackmon and Sandra (David) Hicks; grandchildren, Kris (Gig) Price, Braxton (Coley) Hicks, Davida (Brantley) Owens; special granddaughter, Lindsey Couch; great-grandchildren, Jay (Stacy) Price, Izzie LoRae Price, Colton, Caylyn, Brynlee Hicks,  Tucker Joe, Hazely, Hagen Owens; siblings, Allen (Von) Glover, Buddy (Ann) Glover, Doris (Avery) Calvert, Margie (Ronald) Hale; a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and church family.
