Graveside service for Harvey Darrell Owen, 85, of Cullman will be at 12:30, Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at Good Hope Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-12 on Thursday.

Mr. Owen passed away Friday, September 1st, 2023 at CRMC.  He was born November 24, 1937 to Harvey Allen & Mamie Ann Cureton Owen.  He loved his family and Alabama football.  He served 30 years in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran.  In honor of our father, we ask everyone that would like to wear Alabama apparel for his service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 40  years, Lenda Ann Owen; daughter, Vicky Lee Owen; granddaughter, Bobbi Leigh Owen; great-granddaughter, Shawna MayLynn Borseth.

Survivors include his sons, Allen (Faith)Owen, Eddie (Tracey) Owen, Johnny (Brandy) Owen, Greg "Pooh" Owen; daughters, Kay Cofer, Tabitha (Barry) Owen Nall, Tonya (Corey) Owen Miller; brothers, James (Joyce) Owen, Randall (Nanette) Owen; sisters, Ann Lee, Sue (Morris) Scott, Fay Owen; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; family and friends.
