Funeral service for Gordon Albion Hudson, 78, of Cullman will be at 3 p.m., Monday, October 16th, 2023 at East Side Baptist Church with interment in Simcoe Methodist Cemetery, Rev. Sam Hollis and Rev. Matt Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 2-3 p.m.

Mr. Hudson passed away Friday, October 13th, 2023 at CRMC.  He was born February 24, 1945 to Gordon Albion Hudson, Sr. and Helen Craft Hudson.  He graduated in 1963 from Fairview High School.  He married Rhea Tankersley in 1964.  He owned and operated Hudson Roofing Company for 30 plus years.  I'm sure if you have known him, he has told you a really bad joke through the years.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rhea Hudson; daughters, Charese (Mitch) Morris, Channon (Brad) Wilhelm; brother, Donald Hudson; grandchildren, Cydney (Blake) Rowell, Gunter (Leah Marie) Morris, Hudson (Lindsey) Wilhelm, Griffin (Tess) Morris and Jason Wilhelm; great-grandchildren, Noah Rowell, Brinley Rowell, Graham Morris, Landyn Morris; family and friends.
