Funeral service for Geraldine Nunnelley Buckelew, age 89, of Cullman, will be Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Greg Aldridge officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 1-2 pm. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Buckelew passed from this life Sunday October 22, 2023.  She was born July 10, 1934 to B.M. Nunnelley and Lillian Jones Nunnelley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ottis Buckelew; brothers and sisters.

She is survived by sons, Darrell (Shelia) Buckelew and Dennis Buckelew; daughter, Becky (Kenneth) Howell; grandchildren, Ashley Buckelew, Tiffany (Colin) Wright, Jake Howell, Zac (Emily) Howell, Allie (Matt) Kuenzi, Kaylee Howell, and Kyndall Buckelew; great-grandchildren, Olivia Wright, Cullen Kuenzi, and Molly Wright; family and friends.

Geraldine loved her family and her grandchildren and she was so proud of their accomplishments in their education and their lives.  She loved yearly family reunions and enjoyed playing games at them with her family.  She found much joy in her work preparing tax returns for her clients and loved spending time with them and talking with them year after year.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers include Darrell Buckelew, Dennis Buckelew, Jake Howell, Zac Howell, Dan Chapman, and Kenneth Howell.
