Funeral service for Gayree Waldrep, 79, of the Blair community will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Revs. Tommy Blackwood and Randall Waldrep officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 11-2 p.m.

Mrs. Waldrep passed away January 9th, 2025 at her residence.  She was born January 11, 1945 to Lewis F. & Velma Daisy Godfrey Johnson.  She was a dedicated and devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church for many years.  She loved her family and she loved to garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Damita Jones; sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Theo Waldrep; daughters, Anita Waldrep, Beverly Waldrep; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Jones, Heath (Jessica) Diveley, Summer Diveley, Kelly (Joey) Bolton; great-grandchildren, Cody Jones, Jaylee Jones, Kylie Brawner, Makayva Brawner, Ryan Diveley, Mackenzie Diveley, Landan Diveley; family and friends.
