The Funeral Service for Franklin Dee Miller, 86, of Vinemont, will be 3PM, Sunday, March 26. 2023, at Cullman Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state from 1 -3pm on Sunday at Cullman Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 6-8pm, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel.  The interment will be in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Miller passed away March 23, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his family.  He was born January 13, 1937, to Guy T. & Mamie Wright Miller.  For 22 years he worked for the Vinemont Postal Service.   He was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy T. & Mamie Wright Miller; brothers, Othal, G.T., Melvin, Bobby, and Fred Miller; sisters, Mildred, Hilda and Wilodean.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of nealy 65 years, Mattie Oldacre Miller; son, Barry (Maria) Miller; daughters, Phyllis (Keith) Brown, Tonya (Tim) Sapp; sister, Frances (Rev. Delwin) Kilgo; grandchildren, Erica (Roy) Bates, Jessica (Jose) Flores, Kailey (Joel) Mendoza, Naomi Miller, Barry Miller, Jr., Franklin Miller, Josh (Tabitha) Brown, Nathan (Natalie) Brown, Morgan (Jacob) Sandlin, Kaitlyn (Aaron) Burchell, Kolton Sapp; a host of great grandchildren, family and friends.

The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
