A graveside memorial service for Frances Pearl DeMonia, 97, of Falkville will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 30th, 2026 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Rev. Dennis Trimble officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home was honored to serve the family.

Mrs. DeMonia passed away Friday, September 26, 2026 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1929 to Samuel and Lealy Turner Henry. She was a member of Ebenezer Church. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful things by hand. She enjoyed puzzles and puzzle books, cooking and gardening. She loved her family dearly.

The family is deeply grateful to Gentiva Hospice for their loving care, compassion, and support throughout the past three years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel DeMonia; daughter, Sharon Rivers; her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mike (June) Johnson; grandchildren, Hayley (Patrick) Phillips, Tiffany (Michael) Wells, Stephen (Karen) Johnson, Elizabeth (Shawn) Custer; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Brinlee, Brayley, Brooks Phillips, Olivia & Jase Wells, Lily, Noah, Delainey Johnson, Sarah & Hanna Bell, Trinity Custer; family and friends.
