Graveside service for Florence Yvonne Maddux, 90, of Cullman will be at 11 am, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Cullman City Cemetery, Bro. Stanley Kilgore officiating.

Mrs. Maddux was born on February 9, 1935, to parents, Lee and Viola Hood Bartlett. She was a good Christian wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time at church and with her family. Florence enjoyed socializing with others and she could make you feel like you were the most important person in the universe.

Mrs. Maddux was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, William Luther Maddux; brothers, Luther Bartlett, O'Dean Bartlett, Enoch Bartlett; sisters, Dean Bartlett Freeman, Jewell Bartlett Wood, Yvon Bartlett Legg.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Lee Maddux, Mark Maddux; daughters, Diane (Warren) Corbin, Janet (Wes) Mattox, Kelly (Stephen) Heatherly; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
