Funeral service for Faye Drummond Freeman, age 76, of Cullman, is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Bro. Billy Randolph, Bro. Bill Hall, and Bro. Gene Persall officiating.  The visitation will be on Tuesday, from 12-2 p.m. at the chapel.  Interment will follow the service at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Crane Hill, Al.

Mrs. Freeman was born May 28, 1948, to Eliga David Drummond and Jewel Gracie Harris Drummond.  She passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Hanceville Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dillard Drummond.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 57 years, Donnie Mack Freeman; one son, Chad Freeman; two nieces, Cherie Laird, and Selena Ferguson; a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Check Freeman, Bobby Freeman, Kenneth Bates, Nathan Bates, Freddy Moehning, and Daniel Laird.

Faye was very social and active in the local senior center.  She loved going and seeing her friends there every week.  She enjoyed cross-stitching and loved animals, especially her teacup Yorkie, Bear.  She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
