Funeral service for Edna M. Hardin, age 88, of Vinemont, will be Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Joe McNulty officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 12-2 pm.  Interment will be held at Crossroads Cemetery.

Mrs. Hardin passed from this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.  She was born April 1, 1935 to Dewey Burney and Gertrude Duke Burney.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard McBrayer; son, Jerry McBrayer; daughters, Patricia Brown, and Sylvia Tyson; two brothers; two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Hardin; sons Dale (Carolyn) McBrayer, and Mark (Teresa) McBrayer; step-daughter, Lavonda Hughes, Paula (Rick) Barnette; daughter-in-law, Carolyn (Rev. John) McKoy; sisters Betty Clay, Shirley Brock, Angie Smith, Debbie Burney, Kathy Burson; grandchildren, Lanza (Gary) Lee, Jana Thomas, Jason Sims, Michael (Jessica) McBrayer, Heath McBrayer, Justin (Shannon) McBrayer, Randy (Brittany) McBrayer, Keesha Robertson, Logan McBrayer, Wesley (Candace) Still, LaShane Haynes; Eighteen great-grandchildren; Two great-great grandchildren.

Edna is described by loved ones as a "prayer warrior" who would pray with and for anyone, whether she knew them or not.  She loved deer hunting and the outdoors.  She enjoyed making flower arrangements and canning.  She was a wonderful lady and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
