E. L. Ragsdale, 90, of Logan, Alabama, passed away on March 6, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Ragsdale was born September 9, 1932, to Johnny Avery & Ethel Estell Wall Ragsdale. No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Ragsdale was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Flora Willie Thornton Ragsdale; his sons, Robert Lee Ragsdale, Glen Ragsdale; daughter-in-law, Ann Ragsdale; grandson, Jason Ragsdale; infant grandson, Roger Dewayne Ragsdale; his father, Elijah Johnny Avery Ragsdale; his mother, Ethel Estell Wall Ragsdale; brothers, Reuben, Nelson, Avery Ragsdale; and sisters, Evelyn Fields, Faynell Tyree.

He is survived by his sons, Philip Dale Ragsdale and Roger Bruce Ragsdale;  honorary daughter, Sandra Jenny Sanford; daughter-in-law, Rida Ragsdale; brother Jerry (Joyce)Ragsdale; sisters, Tommie Cleghorn, Bonnie Cleghorn and Judy Ragsdale; grandchildren, Rosa Deann (Gary) Noles, Linda Janette (Melissa) Wiest, Tracy Jo (Derick) Wright, Mary Elizabeth (Jerome) Dyson, Danielle Dawn Ragsdale, Brandy Bullock and Sandy (Jason) Johnson, Angie Marie Ragsdale, Haley Ragsdale, Robert Lee Ragsdale, Jr., Allen Jerome Ragsdale, Brian (Pam) Ragsdale;  18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
