Funeral service for Doris Betty Jean Floyd Quattlebaum, 88, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fellowship Cemetery at Springhill.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 on Wednesday.

Mrs. Quattlebaum passed away Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab.  She was born February 2, 1938 to Emory Talmadge & Delphia Brennis White Floyd.  She was employed by the State of Alabama and for many years she enjoyed working with Ace Hardware.  She was a member of Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church in Trussville.  The family would especially like to thank Hanceville Nursing and Rehab, Donna Guthrie and the staff on Magnolia Hall for the wonderful care given to Betty during her stay there.  

Betty was looking forward to a reunion with those gone before her, her parents, Emory and Brennis Floyd; her husband, Onas Quattlebaum; daughter, Rita Young; siblings, Talmadge Floyd, Mary Jo Floyd, twins, Maxine & Christine Floyd, Ruth Morgan, Wynell Jones, Helen Skinner, Margaret Stallings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Bill (Arminda) Floyd; sister, Brenda Betts; grandchildren, Madelyn and Lauren Young; son-in-law, Mike Young; family and friends.

In lieu of flowers. the family suggests making donations to the Emory and Brennis Floyd Scholarship Fund at Samford University established for the purpose of scholarships for students of integrity and in need.

Pallbearers will be Mike Young, Mike Floyd, Jimmy Floyd, Jimmy Quattlebaum, Jose' Paredes, Scott Robinson.
