Funeral service for Debra Kay Morton, 63, of Vinemont will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Missionary Grove Baptist Cemetery, Bro. Rick Nesbitt officiating.  Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Mrs. Morton passed away Monday, March 10th, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital.  She was born July 10, 1961 to Hovie and Inez Kilgo Thornton.  She was a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church and loved going to church.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Melissa Bowers.

Survivors include her mother, Inez Twilley; husband of 43 years, David Morton; brother, Casey (Melissa) Twilley; sisters, Julia (Ronald) Pevahouse, Dean Twilley, Annette Burnett; grandchildren, Brooke Bowers, Sheridan Bowers, Caleb Bowers; great-grandchildren, Tatum Bowers, Ayla Chambers; family and friends.
