Memorial service for Darren Lee Howell, age 65, of Cullman, is Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 1:30-2 p.m.

Darren was born August 21, 1958 to James M. Howell and Sybil Irene Clark Howell.  He passed from this life on Monday, March 11, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Howell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lorene Howell; one son, Aaron Howell; one daughter, Mindy Howell; one brother, Randy Howell; one granddaughter, Paisley Hale; a host of family and friends.

Darren was a good man who loved to tinker with things and fix them.  He also loved his pets.  He enjoyed watching westerns and football, as well.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
