Funeral service for Dan Spencer Lanier, age 79, of Cullman, will be Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Estell Riddle officiating.  Visitation will be held at the chapel from 12-2 p.m. and interment will be at Oak Level Cemetery.

Dan was born on June 26, 1945, to Arlie and Margaret Lanier and he passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Austin Williams; brother-in-law, Julius Frith.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Williams (Charles); stepdaughter, Stephanie Whitten; brother, Stephen Lanier (Carolyn); sisters, Barbara Frith, and Nancy Anderson (Scott); step-grandsons, Jake and Luke; and a host of family and friends.
