Funeral service for Chessi Johanna Waddell, 47, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 2 ^nd , 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fellowship Cemetery.  Rev. Malcolm Carter II will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12-2 p.m.

Mrs. Waddell passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023.  She was born March 22, 1976 to Dale E. & Jo Ann Link Reynolds.  Chessi was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  She deeply loved her girls and her family.  She was a kind soul and very selfless.  She loved spending time outside with Joanna.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David Waddell.

Survivors include her daughters, Joanna Waddell, Samantha (Cole) Hassell; step-daughters, Kayla Caraway, Brittany Waddell; step-granddaughters, Iris Caraway, Ava Coker; mother-in-law, Reba Waddell; sisters, LouAnn (Ronnie) Mayhair, Sarah Hays Orlando; niece, Abby Mayhair; nephew, Sam Mayhair; brothers-in-law, Steve (Kim) Waddell, Tim Waddell; special friends, John & Mary Tolbert; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be William Link, Byron Wood, Ronnie Mayhair, Steve Waddell, Tim Waddell, Sam Mayhair.
