Memorial Service for Charlie J. Patterson, 80, of Cullman, will be Monday, December 18, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Paul Monk officiating.  Family will welcome friends for visitation from 5-6 pm.

Charlie was born June 10, 1943, to Charlie Robert Patterson and Emma Patterson.  He passed from this life on Friday, December 15, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Patterson; sons, Ben (Dana) Patterson, Tim Patterson; brother, Joe Patterson; grandchildren, Aaron (Marissa) Patterson, Josh (Christine) Patterson, Eric Patterson, Trent (Emily) Patterson; five great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Mr. Patterson during this time.

Charlie was the youngest of thirteen children. He was a very hard worker and family describes him as a jack of all trades.  He stayed very busy and loved being outdoors.  He was proud to be Job Steward of TVA Sheetmetal Workers Union Local 48.  Most of all, he enjoyed life with his family.  He will be very missed.
