Funeral service for Charlett Ann Milton, 79, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 5th, 2026 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Blair Methodist Cemetery, Rev. Andrew Shaw and Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 on Monday.

Charlett passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 at CRMC.  She was born June 12, 1947 to Harper T. & Trudy Shoemaker Henson.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  She had a career of 30 years with the Headstart program and Community Action.  She loved her flower gardens, drawing, hummingbirds, butterflies and mostly her grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Henry Calvin Shoemaker, Bessie Ann McAbee Shoemaker, Berchal Lawrence Henson, Lena Bell Sheats Henson; parents, Harper T. Henson, Trudy Arzela Henson; brother, Larry Joe Henson.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Keith Andrew Milton, Jr.; daughter, Janet (Tim) Dye; daughter, Mary (Oliver) Shaw; brother, Gene (Pat) Henson; grandchildren, Christy (Dustin) Smith, Tyler Shaw, Andrew (Alivia) Shaw, Zach (Kyleigh) Shaw, Levi Shaw, Brian Shaw; great-grandchildren, Malia Smith, Axl Smith, Henry Shaw, John Andrew Shaw; family and friends.
