Carolyn Ann
Tuggle
July 29, 1947 – March 18, 2026
Funeral service for Carolyn Ann Tuggle, of Addison, will be Friday, March 20th, 2026 at 3 p.m. at Spirit Life Church, located 1650 St. Joseph Drive, Cullman, Alabama 35055. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 – 3 p.m. Cullman Funeral home is honored to serve the family.
Carolyn, born July 29, 1947, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior, leaving behind a life well lived and a family who loved her dearly.
Carolyn was raised in Addison, Alabama, and it was always home to her. She carried herself with quiet grace, a kind spirit, and a deep love for her people. She spent many years as a teacher at Addison High School, where she was known not only for her dedication to education, but for the way she cared for her students. To many, she was more than a teacher—she was a listening ear, a steady encourager, and someone who truly believed in them.
She was a devoted mother to Pam (Bobby) Dodd and Misty Howse, and she was preceded in death by her precious son, Woody Everett (2024), whom she loved beyond measure. Her family was the joy of her life, and she made sure each one knew just how much they meant to her.
Carolyn was a proud grandmother to Hayden (Kayra) Everett, Haley Everett, Ivey (Ethan) Page, Eli Howse (Emma Reed), and Ellie (Wesley) Woodard, and a delighted great-grandmother to Grayson, Emery, and Everly Everett, Lincoln Page, Corbyn Everett and Carter Sivley. She cherished every visit, every phone call, and every moment spent together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and IV Tuggle; her brother, Jimmy Ray Tuggle; and her son, Woody Everett.
Above all else, Carolyn loved the Lord. Her faith guided her life and shone through in her kindness, generosity, and willingness to give of herself to others. She had a servant's heart, always ready to help, always putting others before herself, and always sharing God's love in quiet, meaningful ways.
Carolyn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steady strength, and the way she loved her family and community so faithfully. Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find comfort knowing she is at peace, rejoicing in Heaven, and reunited with those who went on before her. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love that will never fade.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Everett, Elijah Howse, Ethan Page, Wesley Woodard, Steton Hayes, Grayson Everett, and Jacob Sivley.
