Carolyn Sue Thompson, age 75, of Joppa, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024.  There are no services planned at this time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Sam Hooper and Gracie Adele Dinger; brothers, Eugene Hooper, Robert Hooper, and P.T. Hooper; sisters, Ivalee Arrington, Nell Hyatt, Ethel Hooper, and Gertrude Bryant.

She is survived by her sons, Jammie Dewayne Thompson, and Steven Ray Thompson; brothers, Dalton Hooper (Gail), and Larry Hooper; sister-in-law, Mary Hooper; grandchildren, Destiny Waldrop, Whitney Thompson, Ethan Burden, Logan Ogelsby; great-grandchild, McKinley Hipp.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
