Memorial service for Carole M. Holcombe, age 78, of Cullman, is incomplete at this time.

Mrs. Holcombe passed from this life on Monday, November 20, 2023.  She was born June 8, 1945 to Edward "Ed" McGriff and Gladys Walker McGriff.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard M. Holcombe; son, Rick (Lisa) Holcombe; daughter, Lori (Robert) Hunter; brother, Ronnie (Vanessa) McGriff; brother-in-law, Dwight (Debra) Holcombe; sisters-in-law, Rita Chambers, Deann (Howard) Uhlman; Four grandchildren, Chris Holcombe, April Holcombe, Natasha (Noah) Holder, David Hunter; Two great-grandchildren, Nolen Mount, Aria Holder; a host of nieces and nephews; family and friends.

Carole was a member of Pleasant View Baptist church.  Her family has wonderful memories of her being a great cook and making the best dressing and fried okra.  Her baby great-granddaugter's laugh was her favorite thing to hear and she had family record it so she could hear her sweet belly laugh whenever she wanted to.  She really loved her church family so much and loved her family and friends with all she had.  Her presence and love will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
