Graveside service for Carol Marie Speegle, 75, of Hanceville will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 3rd, 2026 at Shelton Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Speegle passed away September 1, 2026 at her residence.  She was born October 9, 1950 to John Louie and Alma Pauline Lay Downing. Carol loved her family and she loved her cats, dogs and goats.  She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Henry Speegle; her son, Parrish Speegle and a sister, Wanda Speegle.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, William Keith (Lola) Speegle; daughter, Angela Thrasher, Caroline Speegle (Fred Pope), Amanda Taylor; brother, Joe (Charlene) Downing; grandchildren, David (Tiffany), Joey, Jamie, Justin, Nate, Jake, Chloe, Alyssa, Olivia, Mazie; seven great-grandchildren; family and friends.
