A Celebration of Life Gathering for Buddy E. Reed, 86, of Cullman will be Sunday, September 28th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel from 2-4 p.m.

Mr. Reed passed away Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at CRMC.  He was born June 17, 1939 to Robert Helton & Jessie Mae Blankenship Reed.  Mr. Reed enjoyed mowing his yard, growing a garden, loved to grill, loved driving a truck across the country.  He loved his dog, Abby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Reed; sister, Kay Gillespie, and his first wife, Mary Dean Reed; son, Ray Parrish.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Walker Reed; son, Jeffrey Carr (Cherri); daughters, Jimmie Hopper (Mike), Kenya Thomas (Lew), daughter-in-law, Terri Parrish; brother, Mack Reed (Donna); sisters, Jill Burks, Jo Dunlap; grandchildren, Tiffani Hopper Twilley (Kerry), Valerie Hopper Long, Christian Thomas, Mellicha Asherbranner (Chance); nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
