Funeral service for Bruce Wayne Holcombe, 72, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery in Gardendale.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 4:30 – 8 p.m.

Mr. Holcombe passed away August 23rd, 2025 at his residence.  He was born December 31, 1952 to Connice Coy & Colleen Gail Goode Holcombe.  He was a former Smith Lake Guru known for his bass fishing and stripe guiding on Smith Lake.  He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and dad to a lot of ones he met that didn't have a family.  He loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, and strength.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Darlene Annette Holcombe, daughter,  Sherry Holcombe; granddaughters, Brittany Holcombe, Hope Glover; great-grandson, Silas Ray Price.

Survivors include his children, Gary (Jessica) Holcombe, Tracy (Michael) Glover, Laura Holcombe (Jesse Cordell); grandchildren, Breanna (Dillon) Price, Stacie Holcombe, Tiffany Holcombe, Haley (Jonathan) Chappell, Elijah Glover, Jacob Glover, Emily Glover, Riley Cordell, Sylar Cordell, Aiden Cordell, Aubrey Cordell; great grandchild, Nashville Kaden Wayne Adams.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Glover, Jacob Glover, Jonathan Chappell, David Holcombe, Jeremy Holcombe, Bubba Smith and Lewayne Brock.
