Funeral service for Birdie Mae Kilpatrick, 97, of Cullman will be at 5 p.m., Sunday, July 30th, 2023 at Emeus Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery, Grandson Steven Sutter, Bro. Paul Cleghorn and Bro. Wayne Sheppard officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Kilpatrick passed away Thursday, July 27th, 2023 at her residence.  She was born April 15, 1926 to General Jackson & Edna Eddy Campbell.  She was a simple person who loved the outside, gardening, her flowers and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Kilpatrick; grandson, Matt Rusk; sons-in-law, Gene Rusk, Joe Rusk; three brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by her son, Justin Todd Kilpatrick; daughters, Decca Rusk, Rita Rusk, Cindy (James) Butler; grandchildren, Gerrita (Paul) Cleghorn, Ginger (Wayne) Sheppard, Sephanie (Steve) Phillips, Layla (Steven) Quinn, Jarria Rusk, Steven (Amanda) Sutter, Justin Kilpatrick; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great=great grandchildren; family and friends.

Grandchildren will be pallbearers.
