Bessie Pearl McIntosh, age 98, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026 at Cullman Nursing & Rehab.  She was born on December 8, 1927, and lived a long life filled with love, warmth, and simple joys.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

A graveside service will be held, Friday, May 8th, 2026 at Center Point Cemetery at 11 a.m., Bro. Wade Maynard officiating.

Bessie had a deep passion for gardening and found great happiness among her flowers, tending to them with care and pride. She had a special love for all animals, especially dogs, who brought her endless companionship and comfort over the years. She also enjoyed baking, sharing her homemade treats with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Above all else, Bessie loved her family. She was a steady presence, offering kindness, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and welcome.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clyde.

Survivors include her son, Neal Brown (Linda); daughter, Shelia Hendrix and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and in the beauty she cultivated in the world around her.

A life well lived, a heart well loved.
