Arnold E. Abbott

Arnold E. Abbott, age 91, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Arnold was a preacher and minister who spent many years sharing his faith and the Word of God with others. Music was also an important part of his life and the Abbott family. Singing, playing music, and worship became a family tradition that continues through the generations.

Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Nelson Abbott; his parents, Arthur Oliver Andrew Abbott and Lena Rebecca Laney Abbott; his brothers, Cecil Lee Abbott, J.C. Abbott, Junior Abbott, and James Harley Abbott; and his sister, Nellie Hildred Elizabeth Abbott.

He is survived by his sons, Randy Abbott (Belinda), Paul Abbott (Jessica), Bruce Abbott (Kandi), and Chris Abbott (Janet), along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Arnold leaves behind a legacy of family, faith, ministry, and music that will continue through the generations.
