Funeral service for Anthony Garrett Smith, 58, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 18th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Welti Cemetery, Bro. Cameron Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-2 p.m.

Mr. Smith passed away May 14th, 2025 in Franklin County.   He was born July 16, 1966 to parents, Gary Henry Smith and Patricia Gibbs Smith Kilpatrick.  Anthony loved to cook, loved to plant flowers and could grow anything.  He was a huge lover of all plants and nature.  He loved riding his motorcycle and he absolutely adored his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Henry Smith; step-father, James Kilpatrick; grandparents, John Henry & Dorothy Davis Smith; grandparents, Felton & Clara Kilpatrick, grandmother, Mary Gibbs; sister, Crystal Smith.

Survivors include his grandfather, Clifford Gibbs; mother, Patricia Kilpatrick; daughters, Abby Richter, Katherine (Jacob) Whittle; brothers, Jimmy (Audy) Kilpatrick, Jerry (LaMoyne) Kilpatrick; sisters, Tammy (Paul) Carpenter, Tamelia Lemons, Shelia (Derick) Smith; grandchildren, JaycieBeth Thomas, Jesslyn Wyatt, Emma & Ava Whittle, Gabby Richter, Jaxson Richter; best friends, Jeff Witcher and Amy Hurst; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Paul Carpenter, Jim Partain, Jaxson Richter, Jeff Witcher, Jacob Whittle, Brandon Smith.
