Graveside service for Annie (Ann)  Myrle Rooks Carden, age 81, of Cullman, is Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 2 pm at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

Ann was born September 5, 1942 to Curtis Rooks and Katie Pauline Hopson Rooks.  She passed from this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buddy Carden; two brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Edwards (Alan); grandchild, Katie Robinson (Shamar); special grandchildren, Abby Avila, Israel Suarez, David Suarez, Josh Suarez; great-grandchildren, Kirklinn Twitty, Korrina Robinson, Kreedence Robinson; and a host of family and friends.

Ann, better known as "Nanny" by her family, was a very special lady.  She loved her family very much was very loved by them, as well.  She will be missed.
