Services for Ann Stewart, 58, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Julio Mercado will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ann was born December 15, 1966, to parents, Julio and Charlene Mercado. She passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mark Stewart, and her father, Julio Mercado.

Ann is survived by her children, Laurie (Austin) Stewart, Dennis (Laura) Stewart, and Christopher Stewart. She also leaves behind her mother, Charlene Mercado; sister, Angela (David) Ortiz; and brother, Julio (Aisha) Mercado. A devoted grandmother, Ann cherished all her grandchildren: Mckenzie Beth, Cadence Nicole, Conner Riley, Makynna Hunter, Mason Wayne, Breydon Anthony, Kadence Nicole, Sean Preston, Hudson Reed, Aiden Cole, Owen Thomas, Daniel James, Landen, Ryland, Hayden James, and Bailey Hope.

Ann's love for her family was steadfast. She was selfless in her devotion to caring for her grandchildren, Hayden, and Bailey, providing them with warmth, care, and, of course, their favorite, grandma's fried chicken. She shared an unbreakable bond with her siblings, treasuring every moment with them. As a mother, Ann encouraged her children to seek happiness and always loved them unconditionally.

A generous and hardworking woman, Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a remarkable ability to make every dollar stretch and a heart open to both laughter and tears. Ann touched the lives of many with her kindness, resilience, and unwavering support. Her presence brought joy to those around her, and her love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Ann will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to be part of her life. She was deeply treasured by her family and friends.
