Graveside service for Alton Lennon "Butch" Shedd, 70, of Fairview will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Etha Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Sherman Kimbrough will be officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Shedd passed away February 26, 2022 at 12:05 at his residence.  He was born July 19, 1951 to Emery and Lillie Johns Shedd.

Butch enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

His 40 year ministry consisted of sharing the gospel in several different states.  He loved souls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Nancy Gaines; brother, Darrell Shedd and niece, Tina Latta.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joyce Shedd, sons, Bo (Melinda) Shedd, Toby (Alisha) Shedd and daughter, Lora (Derek) Prince; step-sons, Tim (Gayla) Earl, Richie (Amy) Earl, and sister, Shirley (Bob) White.

He has 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be:  Tim Earl, Richie Earl, Glen Gaines, David Destafino, Ronnie Shedd and Dustin Wren.
